THE 1STGULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC)

TANZANIA INVESTMENT FORUM

HYATT REGENCY – DAR ES SALAAM

15 – 16 JANUARY, 2015

 

1.0          This is to inform all interested parties and stake holders in Tanzania and abroad that the above event will take place as indicated above following an MoU signed in Zanzibar early this year between ZCCIA and the GCC Chambers of Commerce Secretary General who accompanied delegates from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI).

 

2.0          The objective of the Forum will be to demonstrate and expose the GCC investors on the vast and unlimited investment opportunities available in Tanzania.  Furthermore it will embark on Two main events:

 

2.1          Discussion around the investment climate and investment opportunities in Tanzania with the participation of foreign and local investors and representatives of key public and private sector bodies and investment banks from the GCC countries and Tanzania.

 

2.2          Business to Business (B2B) meeting between GCC investors and local investors/promoters to discuss business collaborations in this respect and in forging partnerships around pre-identified investment projects proposals in which six (6) sectors have been identified and selected:

2.2.2Infrastructure

2.2.3Agriculture and Food Security

2.2.4Social Sector

2.2.5Education

2.2.6Health Care

 

3.0          Tourism

4.0          Manufacturing

5.0          This Forum shall also highlight Tanzania’s unique strategic investment location attributes and allow participants to have first hand information on the natural endowments and beauty of Tanzania  the “Land of Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar”.  ENDS.
